Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book?

I only take on 2-3 wedding bookings per month to ensure each cake gets the attention it deserves. For peak wedding season (May-September), I'd recommend booking 6-12 months in advance. For off-peak dates, 3-6 months is usually fine. That said, if your wedding is coming up soon, get in touch - I might have availability.

What's included in the price?

Your quote includes the cake itself, hand-sculpted Belgian white chocolate florals, and set-up on the day. I work one-to-one with you from initial consultation through to final design, so you get a completely bespoke experience. Delivery is priced separately depending on your venue location.

Do you offer cake tastings?

Yes! I offer tasting boxes that I'll post to you. These include samples of my most popular flavours so you can taste them in the comfort of your own home. The tasting box costs £40, and can be ordered here.

How many people will my cake feed?

As a guide, a 2-tier cake serves approximately 60 guests, and a 3-tier serves around 90 guests. Portion sizes depend on whether you want generous slices or smaller portions. I can also create a display cake with an additional cutting cake if you have more guests than your budget allows.

What flavours do you offer?

I work with Sweet Success, an award-winning bakery in Northampton, who create my sponges. Popular flavours include [list your flavours - e.g., vanilla, chocolate, lemon, carrot and orange, red velvet]. All cakes are finished with my signature Italian meringue buttercream unless you request American buttercream.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements?

All my cakes are vegetarian-friendly. However, I don't make gluten-free or vegan cakes, as the structural demands of tiered, sculpted wedding cakes require traditional ingredients. For full allergen information, please see my Allergy Information page.

What makes your cakes different?

I specialize in hand-sculpted Belgian white chocolate florals - a rare technique I learned through specialist training in Paris. There are only a handful of cake artists in the UK who do this. Each petal, leaf, and bloom is individually crafted by hand, transforming premium chocolate into botanical sculptures. It's not buttercream flowers or sugar flowers - it's edible art.

Where are you based and do you deliver?

I'm based in Pirton, Hertfordshire. I deliver throughout Hertfordshire and to luxury London venues. I'm a preferred supplier at South Farm in Royston and have worked with venues including The Ivy London. Delivery is charged separately based on your venue location, and set-up is included.
